Halloween Cupcakes Part 1

 

Whipped Chocolate Pumpkin

Our yummy chocolate cake frosted with a very light and airy whipped pumpkin cream.

Spider web oreo: original Oreo baked inside frosted with an Oreo butter cream frosting topped with a bite size Oreo.

 

This particular cupcake was voted #1 amongst my taste testers for the new fall flavors. It’s a denser cake frosted with cream cheese and chai spices and topped with a drizzled caramel. Perfect for tea parties or a women’s luncheon.

 

 

 

Many of you have asked, “What are sugar sheets?” A sugar sheet is basically fondant rolled out and has an image printed on it with edible ink. I have chosen to work more with cakes like this than fully covered in fondant.

That way you still get a neat image but don’t have a cake fully covered in fondant. Not to be cliché but you can have your cake and eat it too! I personally don’t know many people who like the taste of fondant and this is my way of minimizing it and giving you a great tasting cake!

 

 

Introducing a new cupcake flavor: 

Stella Nutella: Vanilla cake with nutella baked in the center. Topped with nutella butter cream! If you are a Nutella fan, than this is your cupcake. The actual cupcake is mild in sweetness to complement the creamy chocolate nutella frosting.

Ice cream party!

I made these fun Ice cream cone cup cakes and mini cake balls to match.

If you are unfamiliar with what cake bites are, then let me tell you! They are a delicious cake with frosting mixed in and then dipped in chocolate. You can put them on sticks, on ice cream cones or just set out yummy bites in an array of design!

 

 

Fall Flavors!

The leaves are changing and there is a little nip in the air, oh how excited I am to welcome Autumn in!

I have been busy with some fun upcoming creations for autumn. I have made a plethora of cupcakes trying to get just the right ones that would be enticing to all. I hope you like the new additions added to the sweet tooth family! Check them out in the “Menu” section of the blog!

Mountian High Mudd Pie!

Now this is a cake for a Mans birthday! No pink, no fru fru frills. It’s straight up chocolate cake with an amazing peanut butter frosting. Drizzled with grandmas caramel sauce and oozing chocolate Ganache. Topped with Reese’s peanut butter cups.

Smash cakes

Six inch round cake, also known as a “smash cake”. This little piece of heaven is made of Chocolate cake with our signature chocolate icing with a raspberry filling. Embellished of course with little raspberries and piped with white German chocolate.

Grandmas Red Velvet, Classic Vanilla, Strawberry Swirl

Bringing back the classics…and then some.

We have added a few new cupcakes to the Sweet Tooth family this week. Introducing “ grandmas red velvet, Classic vanilla and Strawberry swirl”. 

Grandmas Red Velvet: Is a rich coco cake topped with a decedent cream cheese frosting.

Classic Vanilla: A white vanilla cake that is topped with rich creamy chocolate frosting.

Strawberry Swirl: Its berry season in Germany and these berries were handpicked from the German fields, the sweetest strawberries I have ever tasted!  Vanilla cake with pureed strawberry with strawberry frosting, topped with a chocolate dipped strawberry.

Cupcakes with Hardware...dads day!

We are gearing up for Father’s day. We will be at the PX on June 16^th (the day before dads’ day!) With all of these amazing treats. Our latest creations are these delectable peanut butter vanilla cupcakes with the manliest hardware for cupcakes that you will ever find!

Welcome Home 172nd

As I was driving down our street I noticed all the yellow ribbons were up to welcome the troops home. Then I saw a little girl running out her door with a homemade "Welcome Home Daddy" sign.

I got a little teary eyed to be honest. I remember my father serving in Desert Storm and he was gone quite a bit too. I  was so happy to see the little girl reunite with her father who has been deployed for the last year. A lot changes and as a daddy’s girl, I was heartbroken every time my dad had to leave.

I am so thankful for this country and the values of freedom and patriotism my family installed in me. We are citizens to one of the most wonderful countries in the world. Yes we may not have all the neat history that Europe may have but our citizens have their freedom and agency to act on their own accord.

For all those who serve and for those that support the service member THANK YOU!!! And WELCOME HOME 172nd you were missed!

Ice cream cone cake balls

Don't let these ice cream cones fool you...their cake balls! So yumm and great for a kids party, or baby shower! These are specialize items and we make them when we are at the PX...so you better get there fast. They sold out in about 20 min!

Chocolate teeth

Talk about a sweet tooth! I made these out of white chocolate for a dental team…I think they are the only ones that could appreciate my those lovely gingival margins!  Well them and maybe a few Halloween enthusiast!

We are full for the month of June and most of July! If you have an order...the sooner you can let us know the better!

Pink Lemonade

Nothing screams summer like a bite of a Pink lemonade cup cake. Perfect for high tea, summer get away, or a gals night out.

This treat is super sweet with a welcoming hint of sour, As far as I have unofficially tested it, its Kid approved! (and may cause an overwhelming response to yell YIPPIEE!)

old fashion apple pie

For those that don’t like to be inundated with chocolate, an old fashion apple pie caramel cup cake may be your best friend.

 Just picture eating one of these while sitting on an old country porch swing watching the sun set…ahh this is what memories are made of.

This not to sweet treat is somewhat dense made up of freshly baked and pureed apple topped with cream cheese frosting drizzled with caramel.

A warm mother’s day greeting to all of the fabulous ladies out there!

 

These scrumptious “milk shake” look a likes are the perfect gift for mother’s day. She can have her cake and eat it too! And when she’s done, she has a customized cup!

We will also have these ready for Father’s day!

 

These particular cupcakes are the “jumbo” cupcakes with a serving size of about three cup cakes in one…be still my heart! There is also a cookie baked in the middle. Way better than a real milk shake and twice the fun!

Mans Man

Cake pops aren't just for little kids parties or for baby showers... one of our clients is having his party in a brewery so we thought cake pops coming out of beer mugs would be a charming center piece.

What is a cake pop? Its a cake on a stick with frosting included dipped in chocolate and topped with sprinkles...yumm!

I love these little fruit tartlets they are out of this world yummy! If your ever doing a spread for an event they help offset all the chocolate that may be present. Cool and refreshing just in time for summer!

Sweet Tooth "Army Proud "FREE Give away

We started “Sweet Tooth” to give the American community here in Germany more options for their events, parties, birthdays ect.  As we began the daunting paper work process to get our HBB (home base business) approved, and having all the elements needed for our kitchen to pass inspection (i.e. thermometers, and what not. The cleanliness factor was always there don’t worry about that!)  

Like I said it was daunting, but our friends in this military community were so kind and helpful. Constantly encouraging us and also taking on the oh so difficult task of a “taste tester” geez what friends I have!

No but really I had some hesitation putting myself out there and I know Nadja has too. Its hard, and rejection stinks…since we are still so new to the biz we haven’t encountered that yet, and hope not to (knock on wood)!

I know the hurtles I have gone through are nothing like the military children in our community. ( I am actually quite embarrassed of how I view things and behave after seeing the trials some of these kids face. They are wise beyond their years.) They are faced with a mother or father deploying to war (or even both parents deploying at the same time.  Constantly moving, having to make new friends, adapting to different cultural norms...

There are too many households raising their families with one parent holding down the fort while the other is sent away to defend our freedoms. Its hard, but no one complains. They are resilient and carry on about their day.  I am so proud to be a part of this community and living abroad I appreciate my country back home and my freedoms there even more.

Princess Party

I styled this cup cake tower fit for a princess, and princess little “E” is! I added a fabulous one of a kind cupcake high in the crown just for the birthday princess.

Like this mom that ordered the tower, i too prefer cupcakes over cakes at parties. They are less mess, you don't have to get plates, forks, ice cream ect. Just unwrap and eat!

The cupcakes are strawberry confetti and frosted with the most luscious vanilla strawberry frosting

I seriously am in love with this over the top cupcake tower.  I mean come on go big or go home right?
